Because access is delivered immediately upon purchase, no refund will be provided once the product access or download link has been sent to you.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to every course, program and digital learning resource purchased on monacoacademy.com. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted the terms set out below, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. The nature of our products
Every product sold on Monaco Academy is a digital good, including but not limited to:
- On-demand video lessons and recorded masterclasses.
- Downloadable PDFs, workbooks, case studies and reference materials.
- Interactive assessments, quizzes and diplomas.
- Multi-course programs and curated learning paths.
- Live or recorded mentoring and tutoring sessions.
These are non-tangible, irrevocable goods: once delivered, they cannot be returned, unsent or de-accessed.
3. All sales are final
Unfortunately, due to the immediate access to digital products, all sales are final and non-refundable.
Once your payment is processed and the product access or download link has been made available to you — whether by email, by activation inside your account, or by any other electronic means — the sale is considered fully executed and no refund, credit or exchange will be issued.
This applies regardless of whether you actually log in, download the materials, start the course or use the program after the purchase.
4. Your responsibility as a buyer
As a customer, you are responsible for understanding this policy before purchasing any item on our site. Before completing checkout, we strongly encourage you to:
- Read the full course or program description, including the curriculum, prerequisites, language and expected workload.
- Check the preview lessons and sample materials where available.
- Verify that the format (on-demand, self-paced, mentored) and the technical requirements match your needs and device.
- Confirm the correct course or program is in your cart, and that the billing email is one you can access.
- Contact our team in advance with any question — we are happy to help you choose the right path before you purchase.
5. Limited exceptions
In the rare cases below, please contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will investigate:
- Duplicate purchase — you accidentally paid twice for the exact same product within a short period.
- Technical failure on our side — the course could not be delivered at all due to a verified fault on our platform, and our support team is unable to restore access.
- Unauthorised charge — a payment was made on your card without your authorisation (please also notify your bank).
Outside of these specific scenarios, no refund will be granted. Where an exception is approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method and may take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement.
6. Statutory consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Monaco, you would normally benefit from a 14-day right of withdrawal on distance contracts. However, in accordance with Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, and equivalent provisions of Monegasque and UK law, this right does not apply to the supply of digital content not delivered on a tangible medium when performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent.
By clicking “Purchase”, “Pay now” or any equivalent confirmation button at checkout, you expressly request that we begin delivery of the digital content immediately and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal as soon as performance begins.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory right you may have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
7. Chargebacks & disputes
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting our support team may result in the suspension of your account and the revocation of any diplomas issued, pending the outcome of the dispute with the payment provider.
